I’ve always been drawn to natural materials over synthetic ones, not just for their environmental benefits, but for their superior quality, tactile textures, and the lasting character they bring to each piece. After extensive research and hands-on experimentation, I’ve found merino and alpaca wool to be the perfect fibres to work with. Their softness, strength, and spin-ability make them central to my creative process. Sustainability is equally important to me. I strive to minimise waste by saving every offcut, repurposing them as stuffing for other products or re-carding the fibres to spin into new yarn. For me, every material has value and purpose.
